We left Denis Millet and Nico Hernandez, separated by only 2”4 halfway through this Vienne rally. While Millet had dominated the start of the race, the local driver had made up part of his deficit. Although seized, he increased his pace again in the third loop and took the lead. rally after SS8 where he really “lost the pin”.
Motivated at home, Hernandez continued to attack in the final night loop while Millet, not very confident with his Polo and probably still marked by his exit from the Châteauroux final, gave up a little at the end. Hernandez won in the end for the fourth time in a row! Cosson got on the podium, cursing the weather at the start, because in the dry he was in the match.
Bourgeois (Mitsu EvoX) climbed to 5e scratch place with the added bonus of group victory. Success also for the very young Chatillon (20 years old) in FRC4.
