Rallye France – Cuoq for a first?
Jean-Marie Cuoq's start to the season so far looks flawless. Winner at Touquet- Pas-de-Calais in the French Championship, the Ardèche driver also won the Land of the Causses in the French Terrestrial Championship. On the roads of Lyon-Charbonnières this weekend, the driver of the Citroën C4 WRC hopes to continue its momentum and aims a first victory in this event.
Facing Cuoq, David Salanon, winner in 2014, and Pierre Roché will return to their Ford Fiesta, unlike Eric Brunson who will not be there, after his outing at Le Touquet. The R5 category will once again offer a substantial field including Yoann Bonato and Cédric Robert (the latter with Saintéloc Junior Team) on Peugeot 208 T16 R5. Regulars Gilles Nantet and Patrick Rouillard will line up their Porsche 911 in GT+.
The first special will start on Friday at 12:43 p.m.
