Rallye France – Salanon confirms its 2018 program

David Salanon remains faithful to its dual program logic. Host of the French Asphalt Rally Championship for many seasons, the 44-year-old from Loire confirmed his presence at the national level in 2018, in association with co-driver Jérôme Degout

Winner in particular of Rally du Var and Lyon-Charbonnières in 2017, David Salanon wanted to continue to “compete in great rallies and in a powerful and spectacular car”. The choice therefore fell on the Ford Fiesta RS WRC old generation black and gold, like last year. His participation in Lyon-Charbonnières (April 19-21) as well as on the Mâcon Wine Rally (June 15-17) is confirmed.

David Salanon also got into the fashion for cars meeting the R5 regulation by purchasing a Skoda Fabia. “This equipment is primarily intended for rental”, specifies the driver, who will therefore remain a fan of turbocharged WRCs again this year.
