Rally – Guigou with the new Clio R3T at Mont-Blanc

Manu Guigou will appear at the next Rally of Mont-Blanc contested from September 4 to 6 with the new Clio R3T which replaces the Clio RS R3 with which he scored no less than 32 victories. The Frenchman, who occupies fifth place in the French Championship and is first in the 2WD category, was able to test his new 242hp and 480Nm machine during a test session. “This first rally will allow me to analyze the behavior of the car in racing conditions”, commented Manu Guigou. “It is important to gain this experience to share it later with Automeca customers. I want to be able to understand and share the sensations that the driver experiences while driving. This is an important asset when you need to progress settings as a team. With Fabiano, we planned to do a test session and discuss the settings that we will adopt on the Rallye Mont-Blanc. »

The Automeca driver will have to quickly find his bearings with the new Clio R3T in order to achieve his objectives at the end of the season. ?The objective remains to finish the season in first place in pull-ups. We will try to have fun in the Clio R3T. We will see the result. Mont-Blanc is one of the rallies I know the least about on the calendar. But that’s not going to stop us from riding like we know how! », he emphasizes.

Automeca is preparing three Clio R3Ts, the second being lined up at Mont-Blanc with Fabiano Lo Fiego, while the last is prepared in a gravel version. “We believe in Renault Clio R3T », specifies Manu Guigou. “It is a new generation car, very efficient and whose costs remain contained. Driving a Clio R3T does not cost more than taking a rally with the older generation of R3. It?s important to be able to have fun competing without spending a fortune. And we can ride everywhere, on asphalt, on dirt, regionally and up to the World Cup! »
