2019 Youth Rally returns for its 25th anniversary

Who will succeed Bryan Bouffier in 2019, Sébastien Ogier, Eric Camilli, or even Adrien Fourmeaux, all winners of the operation Rally Young people since its launch in 1994?

For its 25th anniversary, the national detection organized under the aegis of the FFSA leaves for a new series of four selections, organized in mainland France. Lyon (September 26-30), Saint-Dié des Vosges (October 12-13) and Nîmes (November 2-3), as well as Saint-Denis in Réunion on August 17 and 18.

“Reserved for 18-25 year olds of French nationality and driving license holders, Rallye Jeunes FFSA will once again be accessible for the sum of €20 via registration on the official website of the operation, recalls the FFSA. At the end of the selections, the forty fastest candidates will participate in the National Final organized on the Lédenon Circuit in Nîmes. »

Two drivers will be chosen and will join the FFSA Youth Rally Team in 2020 to compete in the French Junior Rally Championship at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta R2J prepared by the FFSA Academy.

“It has now been 15 years since France has had the privilege of dominating the World Rally Championship, notably with the 6 titles in a row for Sébastien Ogier, who succeeded Sébastien Loeb, comments the president of the FFSA Nicolas Deschaux.
