Rallye Jeunes crowns its 2019 winners

The FFSA's young talent detection operation will offer the opportunity for two drivers and two co-drivers to compete next year in the French Junior Rally Championship.

Rally Young people, who notably crowned Bryan Bouffier, Sébastien Ogier or Eric Camilli and Adrien fourmaux, saw its 2019 edition highlight Terence Callea and Tom Pieri as drivers, Alexis Maillefert and Arnaud Dunand as co-drivers.

40 finalists gathered last Monday in Lédenon (Gard) before only the six best pilots and the six best co-pilots progressed to the second day for a battery of physical tests, a psychological interview and night orienteering races.

“Our two crews are now facing a new adventure,” underlines Nicolas Bernardi, head of Rallye Jeunes. Their integration into the FFSA Youth Rally Team should undoubtedly allow them to take a leap forward in their learning of rallying.

Beyond sports funding, the FFSA will support them on many other levels thanks to its training center: physical, psychological, nutritional, etc.

We now wish them to be able to ingest as much information as possible during this next year, so that Rallye Jeunes FFSA can fully play its role, namely a springboard towards a possible career as a professional driver and co-driver. »

The two Terence Callea – Alexis Maillefert and Tom Pieri – Arnaud Dunand crews will race in the French Junior Championship in 2020.
