Rally – The French Junior Rally Championship will continue with Citroën

The French Junior Rally Championship reserved for drivers aged 18 to 25 should retain the DS3 R1s in 2016. The FFSA has extended its agreement with Citroën Racing for the next season. After Nicolas Romiguière in 2011, Jérémie Seryes in 2012, Axel Garcia in 2013 and Yohan Rossel last year, the next winners will therefore prove themselves on frames bearing the double chevron.

“Our goal is more than ever toensure Sébastien's succession Loeb as well as Sébastien Ogier », underlined Nicolas Deschaux, President of the FFSA. “The French Junior Rally Championship today claims to be, for 18/25 year olds, one of the best launching pads towards high-level competition. »

“The first titled French Junior champion at the wheel of one of the Citroën DS3 R1s from our Junior Trophy discovered the rally in 2014, and thanks to the combination of all our efforts, he now has a real gateway to a potential career in rallying?, specified Yves Matton, director of Citroën Racing, who closely followed the progress of Yohan Rossel.
