The calendar for the French Rally Championship has undergone some changes, not the least. The FFSA announced that the Tour de Corse, back in WRC from October 1 to 4, would also be on the calendar of the French championship following the decision of ASALAC not to organize the Rally Limousin region planned for the weekend of May 9.
The Tour de Corse will thus count as the sixth event of the French Rally Championship, contested between the Rallye du Mont-Blanc (from September 3 to 5) and the Critérium des Cévennes and will allow a calendar of eight events to be maintained.
The French Motor Sport Federation also indicated that the Critérium des Cévennes (Hérault) would be postponed by a week, on the dates of October 29-31, in order to offer a sufficiently long break for the crews.
