Noël Tron made a brilliant return to competition by winning the Rally Terre de Diois (Drôme) on the DS 3 WRC that he discovered. The winner won more than a minute ahead of Thibault Durbec's DS 3 WRC following the retirement of Julien Maurin (DS 3 WRC) with a mechanical problem in the first special of the second stage.
Cyrille Feraud (Citroën C4 WRC) finished in 4th place, more than 2 minutes from the podium, ahead of Arnaud Mordacq (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), the winner of Group N.
It was Guillaume de Mevius who achieved success in the 208 Rally Cup.
