Rally – Rossel opens his counter in the Cévennes

Yohan Rossel (DS 3 R5) took his first victory in the French Rally Championship after winning the Rally of the Cévennes. The former winner of the Juniors at the Citroën Racing Trophy definitively took the lead of the race by taking advantage of a puncture from his rival Charles Martin (Skoda Fabia R5) which occurred on SS5.

Yohan Rossel won with more than a minute ahead of Pierre Roché (Skoda) who was just five seconds ahead of Ludovic Gal (Skoda).

Charles Martin managed to move up to fourth place by overtaking William Wagner (Ford Fiesta R5) by less than two seconds in the last special and took second place in the Championship taking advantage of the retirement of Quentin Giordano (Skoda Fabia R5 ) went off the road in the first special staged the day before.

Emmanuel Guigou (Renault Clio RS) finit au sixième rang en terminant premier pilote R3 en remportant la victoire au Trophée Michelin réservé aux équipages hors R5. Patrick Rouillard (Porsche 997 GT3 Cup) suit en septième position et remporte la catégorie GT+. Julien Monteil (Peugeot 307) took eighth place ahead of Sébastien Dommerdich (Peugeot 205 GTI) and Dorian Nicolas (DS 3 R3).

Hugo Margaillan (Ford Fiesta R2) won the Junior category of the French Rally Championship, finishing runner-up in the category, finishing in 13th place in the general classification.
