Rally – Salanon in the lead at Lyon-Charbo

David Salanon (Ford Fiesta WRC) point at the head of the Rally Lyon-Charbonnières (Rhône) at the end of the five special stages of the first stage, the Charbonnières super special having been canceled. The leader of the event fought a bitter duel with Éric Brunson (Fiesta WRC) who was only nine seconds behind.

Pascal Trojani (Citroën C4 WRC) completes the leading trio, 34 seconds from the head of the race, only nine tenths ahead of Yoann Bonato's DS 3. Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia) follows a few seconds behind in fifth place, preceding Pierre Roché (Fabia). Jonathan Hirschi (Peugeot 208 T16), Frédéric Raynal (Fiesta RS), Pierre Ragues (DS 3) and Jean-Mathieu Léandri (208 T16) complete the top ten.
