Rallye Terre – “Pigi” Andersson comes to disrupt the game at Auxerrois

Among the 84 drivers at the start of this 3rd round of the French gravel rally championship, one will be particularly followed. The double Junior world champion WRC (2004 and 2007) Per-Gunnar Andersson is in fact entered in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo like Matthieu Margaillan who swaps his Skoda Fabia Super 2000 for a Citroën C4 WRC. He thus poses as the main opponent of leader Jean-Marie Cuoq, entered on an identical mount. Little spared by bad luck since the start of the season, Lionel Baud (Ford Fiesta WRC) is also a declared candidate for final victory.

In the absence of Frédéric Hauswald, the leader of the Two-wheel drive category, Marc Amourette (Citroën DS3 R3) has the opportunity to take the lead in the Championship alone. Also present as part of the 208 Rally Cup, Yann Clairay, Vincent Dubert and Michel Mouret are also candidates for the first places.

The 20th Rally Terre de l'Auxerois includes ten ES for a total of 371,36 km (142,66 km chrono) Departure from Auxerre, Saturday July 26 at 7:00 a.m. Arrival in Auxerre, Sunday July 27 at 16:12 p.m.
