Victory in the scratch for Dominique Bruyneel (Subaru Impreza), victory in group N, accompanied by a very good third place in the scratch, for Cédric Chérain (Subaru Impreza): the Belgian drivers carried out a great raid in this third round of the championship France. It must be said that the ranks had thinned out again on Sunday morning: Laurent Carbonaro put on his 307 WRC on the roof in the 8th special, while Thomas Privé retired in the following special, front transmission broken on his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9. Despite a small scare in a ford, Bruyneel then assured the victory, finishing with more than a minute and half on Paul Chieusse (Peugeot 206 WRC).
