Record number of entrants for the 2020 Tour de Corse historique
The 20th edition of the Tour de Corse historique is not experiencing the crisis. Indeed, while the system against Covid-19 is refined, the event organized by José Andreani's team attracted 240 crews, unheard of!
Over 20 special stages, spread over five stages of competition, 240 cars will crisscross the island. Big names will rub shoulders with gentlemen drivers and other vintage enthusiasts. So, Francois Delecour on a Porsche 911 rivalisera en VHC avec François Foulon (Ford Escort MK2), le tenant du titre dans cette classe.
Vice-champion of France FFSAGT in 2017, Robert Consani will also drive a Porsche. The BMW M3 will also be a cutting-edge weapon with the names of Marc Vallicioni and Olivier Capanaccia, best islander in the Tour de Corse WRC 2019.
The program for the 20th edition:
· Monday October 05: technical and administrative checks – Festive driving day and show in Porto-Vecchio – Departure ceremony
· Tuesday October 06: 1st stage Porto-Vecchio / Porto-Vecchio –
· Wednesday October 07: Porto-Vecchio / Bastia – 2nd stage
· Thursday October 08: Bastia / Calvi – 3rd stage
· Friday October 09: Calvi / Ajaccio – 4th stage
· Saturday October 10: Ajaccio / Porto-Vecchio 5th stage – Arrival and prize giving
