Robert Kubica at the Rallye du Var

The rumor had been growing for several weeks. This time it's official, Robert Kubica will participate in the Rally du Var from November 27 to 29. After taking part in the Taormina-Messina Rally in Sicily last weekend, the Pole will once again be lined up in a Renault Clio R3.

« I am interested in all forms of motor sports and I particularly like rallying. », explains Robert Kubica. “ It is a demanding and very spectacular discipline. I had the idea of ​​participating in the rally in the near future. My upcoming arrival within Renault F1 Team created this opportunity. »

After his experience on the Sicilian roads where he retired after hitting the right front, he will approach the event differently this time.

« I will approach this test cautiously and without any particular objective. The roads of the South of France are as beautiful as they are difficult and I will try to have as much fun as possible behind the wheel of the Clio Renault Sport R3 Maxi from the Chazel team. He concludes.

Kubica will be lined up alongside another highly anticipated driver: Sébastien Loeb. The six-time World Rally Champion will also be present at the wheel of a C4 World Rally Car with his wife Séverine.
