Sébastien Loeb loses big from the start in Haut-Var

Sébastien Loeb did not have success this Saturday morning for the start of the Rally Haut-Var, où le nonuple champion du monde est engagé sur une Hyundai i20 R5.

Best time in SS1, the Alsatian then saw a wheel come off his car, apparently following a broken kneecap according to information provided by the French Championship Twitter account.

Loeb finished the SS more than 1'20" behind the best time of Lionel Baud (Citroën DS3 WRC), new leader in the general classification of the event. Loeb was able to start the following special, operating with a “twisted car”, but nevertheless signing the provisional scratch in SS3.
