Sébastien Loeb easily wins the Rallye Epernay
Sébastien Loeb remained untouchable in the 19th Rally Epernay-Vins de Champagne (Marne) by winning the 14 specials at the wheel of DS3 WRC. The nine-time world champion, co-driven by Sandra Rebout, won with almost 5 minutes ahead of the Skoda Fabia WRC of Éric Cunin who snatched 2nd place from Quentin Giordano by 8 seconds.
Quentin Giordano was in second place before falling in the standings due to a puncture. Laurent Viana (DS3 WRC) and Dominique Rebout (Peugeot 207 S2000) complete the top five.
