At the wheel of his Citroen C3 Rally2, the driver from Noeux-les-Mines, at the head of the first loop of this second stage, was able to keep the pace and avoid pitfalls to win the Final ahead of Kevin Bochatay (Skoda Fabia), Maxime Dupuy (Citroën C3), Jean-Mathieu Leandri (VW Polo GTI) and Nicolas Hernandez (Skoda Fabia).
Having returned to 1”7 behind Stéphane Lefebvre before the last special of the 2021 Finale, the unfortunate Denis Millet (VW Polo GTI) had to abandon the road in the final kilometers.
Winner of the prologue and first leader of the rally after his victory in the SS2 at a dizzying average of 113 km/h, the SS1 having had to be canceled due to the brawlers, Millet had to cede command to Lefebvre but made a formidable comeback this afternoon . He was not able to play his chances of final victory, but for every great winner you need great adversaries and undoubtedly he was one of them.
Ludovic Jeudy (Peugeot 205) in addition to his leadership in the Group F2000, won first place in the two-wheel drive ranking ahead of the Alpine A110 with a magnificent 16th place overall in the middle of 21 R5/Rally2!
