Earth: Jean-Joseph masters his subject

Le Rally Terre de Lloret seems won over to the cause of Simon Jean-Joseph. At the wheel of his Peugeot 207 S2000, the Frenchman won all the stages of the first stage and already has a lead of a minute and a half over Julien Maurin, his closest rival in the standings.

If the driver of the Ford Fiesta S2000 no longer seems able to play for victory on a regular basis, he must still stay on the attack to avoid a possible return from Emmanuel Gascou. The second 207 S2000 is still around thirty seconds behind at the end of this first day but five special stages still remain to be contested for the second stage.

However, Bernard Munster could shake up the established hierarchy among leaders. His Skoda Octavia WRC is only about ten seconds behind Emmanuel Gascou's 207 S2000. Furthermore, he was not worried by the competition, Alain Deveza (Skoda Octavia WRC) being more than a minute and a half behind in fourth place.
