Thibault Durbec wins the Terre des Causses

Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5) seemed to have gotten his hands on the Terre des Causses since yesterday, and his takeover in the face of Thibault Durbec (Citroën DS3 WRC).

On a track that was a little dry yesterday, the leader of the first round of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship had to give up in the penultimate stage after a collision.

Durbec, who remained in Michel's immediate wake since the start of the morning, notably with a scratch in SS8 and despite a more complicated SS7, therefore inherits the victory. The DS3 WRC driver won ahead of Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 R5), winner of the Mixed Trophy by Michelin.

Lionel Baud place sa Citroën DS3 WRC sur la dernière marche du podium devant Brice Tirabassi (Hyundai i20 R5), bien revenu au classement général après une première étape plus difficile. Jean-Baptiste Franceschi s’impose en Peugeot 208 Rally Cup and in the French Two-Wheel Drive Championship.
