Author of two best times out of three possible this morning, Nicolas Ciamin (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) now has more than 40 seconds on his pursuers. The Niçois can now think of a third victory on the banks of the Channel.
Despite a collision in SS 11, Thomas Chauffray (Fabia Rally2 evo) remains in second place with more than 20 seconds ahead of William Wagner (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport).
The Franco-Belgian driver took advantage of 22,95 km of SS 11 to take third place from Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto). The two drivers are separated by 3''2 and Hugo Margaillan (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), victim of brake problems in SS 10, is placed in ambush 2'' from the Wagner-Bonato duo.
The match for 3rd place promises some great battles during the last loop.
Back in the French Championship, Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) was just outside the Top 5, just ahead of Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil).
In the Top 10, Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Bonneton HDG) occupied the lead in the two-wheel drive classification.
Anthony Fotia (208 Rally4) has a good lead over Lucas Darmezin (208 Rally4) and Louis Constant (208 Rally4) in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup.
