Var: Robert winner, Bouffier champion

The remote duel between Cédric Robert (Peugeot 307 WRC) and Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207 S2000) gave birth to two winners this Sunday: if one won the Rally du Var, the other won his first French Champion title. Objective announced by Peugeot at the beginning of 2010, when formalizing Bryan Bouffier's program in the French Championship, this title rewards the consistency of the Drômois.

Winner of the Ronde Limousine, the Rallye d?Alsace and the Rallye des Cévennes, Bouffier also finished fourth at Lyon-Charbonnières and third at Mont-Blanc. Despite a late retirement from the Rallye du Rouergue, Bryan Bouffier managed to finish with more points than Cédric Robert (109 against 106). The latter failed close to the goal, despite a very good season and a final victory on the Rallye du Var, which he dominated from start to finish.
