Assured of the title thanks to the two points awarded by appearing on the list of starters, Jean-Bpatiste Franceshi (Fabi Rally2 evo) had the luxury of not taking the start of the rally after the reconnaissance.
Florent Todeschini (i20 N Rally2) dominated the first stage despite pressure from Matthieu Margaillan (Fabia Rally2 evo), author of the first scratch at the start of the rally.
Penalized by some brake problems, Margaillan retained second place ahead of Benjamin Clémençon (Polo GTI R5).
Engaged at the wheel of the Clio Rally3, Quentin Ribaud finished the first stage in seventh place behind Emil Lindholm (i20 N Rally2), Charles Munster (i20 N Rally2) and Cédric Rabasse (Fabia R5).
