Rallye Vosges – Giordano signs his 2nd success of the season

At home, Quentin Giordano won his second victory of the season and takes off in the provisional ranking of the French Championship. Giordano is ahead of William Wagner and Nicolas Ciamin on the Gérardmer podium.

Rallye Vosges – Giordano signs his 2nd success of the season

Délesté de la pression de Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) devait contenir les assauts de William Wagner (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) et de Nicolas Ciamin (i20 N Rally2-Hyundai 2C Compétition). Le pilote de se faisait une frayeur dans l’avant-dernière spéciale pour compter seulement 16,9 secondes d’avance sur Wagner avant d’attaquer les 20,39 kilomètres de Corcieux.

Solid and focused, Giordano did not give up to claim his second victory of the season. A success which has a particular flavor for the resident of Sarrazin Motorsport.

William Wagner confirmed his rise in power at the wheel of the Polo by climbing onto the second step of the podium, 8 seconds behind Quentin Giordano but ahead of Nicolas Ciamin, who would have hoped for better with a view to the Championship.

Back for a "one shot" Quentin Gilbert (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) gradually found the rhythm of the CFR to take fourth place to the detriment of Hugo Margaillan (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) in the ultimate special of rally.

Adrien fourmaux (Fiesta Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport) had to deal with mechanical problems which did not allow him to compete at the top of the standings. He finished the rally in 6th position.

Seventh, Cédric Robert won the two-wheel drive classification, but was unable to close his gap on Romain Di-Fante (Clio Rally4-Renault Clio Team), winner in FRC4.

Already a winner at Le Touquet, Léo Rossel (208 Rally4-Rossel Compétition) scored a second victory in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup. Térence Callea (208 Rally4-Sarrazin Motorsport) and Réhane Gany (208 Rally4-Lycée Saint-Vallier) completed the podium in the only brand cup present in the Vosges this weekend.

Sarah Rumeau (Corsa Rally4-Cilti Sport) won the Women's classification while Jean-Nicolas Hot (Impreza N17) won the Michelin “Amateur” Trophy.
