Yohan Rossel at the summit at Mont-Blanc

After Rally of Antibes, Vosges Grand-Est and Rouergue, here is the Mont-Blanc Rally which falls into the hands of Yohan Rossel and Benoît Fulcrand. The Citroën C3 R5 tandem thus takes a fourth consecutive victory in the French Rally Championship and at the same time increases its lead in the general classification.

A first stage which caused the main victim to be Nicolas Ciamin (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5), who went off the road in SS5.

The second day this Saturday begins at the same tempo for Rossel, author of the first two best times and therefore counting around thirty seconds in advance. The leader of the event will then control the end of the rally a little more, leaving Yoann Bonato, Sylvain Michel and Quentin Gilbert to set the final times.

At the finish, Rossel won with a margin of 17″9 over Bonato and 24″4 over Quentin Gilbert. " I am very satisfied, comments the winner. With Benoît, we work very hard so this result is a great reward.

It's great to beat Yoann Bonato here. I don't really know what to say. I want to thank my team and my ushers who did a fabulous job. »

Quentin Gilbert dominates the Michelin R5 Trophy, while Victor Cartier wins the French Junior Championship.
