100 crews candidates for the 2021 Monte-Carlo Rally

For the 90 places allocated at the start of the Rally Monte Carlo 2021 (January 21-24), the Automobile Club of Monaco received 100 registrations as of December 18, the end date for entries.

A success which will force the organizer of the opening round of the World Rally Championship to make a selection between the crews, in order to reach the number fixed by the regulations.

If the entry list will not be published until January 11, Toyota, with four Yaris for Sébastien Ogier – Julien Ingrassia, Elfyn Evans – Scott Martin, Kalle Rovanperä – Jonne Halttunen and Takamoto Katsuta – Daniel Barritt, Hyundai and his three i20 Coupes WRC entrusted to the outgoing winners Thierry Neuville – Nicolas Gilsoul, supported by Ott Tänak – Martin Järveoja and Dani Sordo – Carlos del Barrio, will be there.

M-Sport Ford must also field two Fiesta WRCs, but the crews of the structure led by Richard Millener have not yet been made official, knowing that Esapekka Lappi should not be in the Monegasque event.

See you on January 11 to find out the list of those lucky enough to take part in a Monte-Carlo Rally whose route has been modified due to health restrictions in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
