The latest thoughts from those responsible for rally to the FIA had considered the possibility of the events integrated into the new 2020 calendar of the WRC not to stick to the usual mileage seen in the World Cup, with 300 km as the minimum number of sectors against the clock.
A possibility which seems to have been noted since the route of the Estonian Rally, which will relaunch the WRC from September 4 to 6, will include 232 competitive km, less than the 250 km mark initially planned by the FIA.
As expected, the event will take place over two real days (Saturday and Sunday), with Friday only having a single 1,28 km special stage. 146 km will however be on the program the next day for a day where the starting order will be modified compared to the usual regulations.
Six SS, including a 20,05 km Power Stage, will complete the program for Sunday. The Estonian Rally will be able to count on a total of 17 special stages.
