Adamo: “No truce if we want to defend our title”

Hyundai won his first title in WRC with the coronation of the Builders acquired with the cancellation of the Rally from Australia. The Korean brand will aim for the heights next year with the recruitment ofOtt Tänak, the new reigning champion with Toyota with 6 victories in the space of one season.

“Once we return to Alzenau, we will be able to celebrate this result with the whole team. Our next steps will be to continue the development of the car, carry out testing and participate in certain events in order to fully prepare for the next season”, explains team principal Andrea Adamo.

“Sébastien Loeb will be at the Rallye du Var (November 23-24). We also have testing sessions to prepare for the next Monte-Carlo (January 23-26). There is no winter break if we want to defend our title in 2020,” adds the charismatic Korean team leader.

Hyundai succeeded M-Sport and Toyota, the last champion manufacturers after Volkswagen's 4 crowns. His quest will not be easy, especially since crew changes between other manufacturers are expected.
