Adrien fourmaux, how did your reconnaissance of this Finnish round go?

We had worked well beforehand and I think we did a good job with Alex (Coria, his navigator) in recent days. The verdict will be established quickly after the first specials on Friday. I am quite relaxed, but I do not forget that it is a rally very difficult where as soon as you are not 100% the sanction is immediate.

Your performance in Estonia gave you added confidence. Could there be a risk of falling into the opposite excess?

It is true that this result and the way in which we obtained it came at the right time. However, you should not make the same mistake as in Monte-Carlo. I want to continue to rebuild intelligently until the end of the season.

How does the Puma perform on this terrain?

In Estonia, we had interesting intermediate times on sections which were similar to those in Finland, which seems to indicate that the car is fast on this type of road. Since we haven't done any testing, however, I don't really know what to expect yet. I'm going to use shakedown to make settings changes and try things to see what works and what doesn't.

What would a successful rally look like for you?

Currently, I no longer set too many goals before the race. I would like us to provide the same type of service as in Estonia. We managed to gain momentum while slowing down when I didn't feel completely confident. I would like to be in a fight with someone in order to maintain a challenge. However, I do not forget that I only participated once with a WRC last year. That's not much. I look more at the differences per kilometer. If I manage to reduce it compared to the best, I will be satisfied.
