Season 2023 ofAdrien fourmaux started early. Engaged in a Ford Fiesta Rally2 identical to the one he will use this year in the WRC2 championship, he is taking advantage of this 36e edition of the Jännerrallye to prepare for Monte-Carlo. Started yesterday with a night special where Adrien took 2e instead, the stage consisted of 89,51 km timed today, divided into 10 ES. Author of three consecutive bests, the northern driver had a lead of up to 9s3 after 4 sections. The rest of the debates were more complicated against the reigning Austrian champion Simon Wagner or the former winner Hermann Neubauer who have the advantage of knowing the terrain well. Adrien Fourmaux, however, managed to win the last sector of this Friday in the darkness to build up a gap of 7s8 before the final day.
This consists of 6 ES and 61,60 km.
