Le Rally of the Acropolis (September 8 to 11) will be done without Adrien fourmaux. Having made a mistake and rolled during the penultimate special of the Rally of Belgium last Sunday, the Northerner seriously damaged his Ford Puma. If they mobilized to try to repair his car in time, the mechanics of M-Sport did not succeed in their mission forcing the Tricolore to remain at the dock.
« Due to his accident at the Ypres Rally, it is not possible for the team to repair Adrien Fourmaux's car in time for the Acropolis Rally, M-Sport announcement Firstly. Unfortunately, this means that Adrien and Alex (Alexandre Coria his co-pilot) will not be able to compete in Greece."

Although he will miss the Acropolis Rally in just under a fortnight, Adrien Fourmaux will still be able to taste Greek gravel. The Northerner will indeed be on the M-Sport trip to Greece to take part in the reconnaissance of the specials in order to prepare for the next rounds of the season.
One accident too many?
Adrien Fourmaux's season has been very eventful so far. Expected as the next generation behind Craig Breen at M-Sport, the Frenchman has not been able to showcase his talent due to (too many?) numerous accidents since the start of the year.
At Monte-Carlo, the driver of the English team ended up downhill after going off the track on Friday morning. In Croatia as in Italy, Adrien Fourmaux also made a mistake, considerably damaging his Ford Puma. If a few mechanical glitches like in Kenya did not allow him to be rewarded, the Northerner experienced a new misadventure in Belgium which cost him dearly this time. The last straw?
