Supposed to mark the start of a very good career in Rally1, the 2022 season was difficult for Adrien fourmaux. Perhaps feeling under pressure, having been propelled to the forefront after a first good appearance in Croatia two years ago, the Northerner made mistakes which cost him dearly.

The call of the foot of Adrien Fourmaux

The return of Adrien Fourmaux to the contingent could then be of great use. But is the Northerner ready to get back into Rally1? “ I think I can be satisfied with what I did in Greece, was moving forward-he after the Acropolis. Of course, it was difficult with the tires, but sometimes it's a bit of a lottery with the stones on such rallies.

I've competed in a lot of events this year, we've won five rallies and we've really learned a lot and gained a lot of positive experiences. The confidence is there on my side and I am happy that we were able to fight and show our speed on all surfaces in WRC2. Honestly, I feel more ready [to compete in the premier category] than last year for my debut in Rally1. I'm more ready than ever. » The message got through. It remains to be seen whether the English board will be able to give him another chance.
