We would be tempted to say: all that for that. Even if this Rally from Croatia did not lack spectacle or suspense, the effects on the Drivers' championship are minimal. Indeed, the two favorites for the title are Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Elfyn Evans (Toyota) scored exactly the same number of points (19)!

The Belgian therefore remains at the top of the hierarchy ahead of the Welshman. Winner in Croatia, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) doubles Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota, absent) in the championship, just like Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota). Despite a final 17th place, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) is doing very well and collects points on Saturday (5th) and the Power Stage (1st).

Finally, the man who does "the" right operation is Ott Tänak (Hyundai). Discreet, the Estonian did not make any sparks, but his consistency and his final 4th place allowed him to score a whopping 20 points, or 1 more than Evans and Neuville!

Among manufacturers, Toyota continues to take a slight lead over Hyundai. Indeed, Jari-Matti Latvala and his men are ahead Cyril Abiteboul and his by 7 lengths (131 against 127). M-Sport remains at a distance, already 80 units behind.

In WRC2, the 2nd place of Yohan Rossel (Citroën) allows him to return to equality with leader Oliver Solberg (Skoda, absent in Croatia).
