Although he had announced that the technical regulations would be unveiled at the Acropolis, this did not happen. Andrew Wheatley, however, agreed to discuss the challenge facing the WRC and the main areas to meet it.

Within the teams involved in WRC2, on the forums or among the public at the edges of the special stages, the predominant idea is that the Rally1 should have been stopped and hybrids introduced on the Rally2. It seems so simple and yet it's a path you never seem to have explored. For what ?

Across the world, Rally2s are enjoying incredible success. I don't remember another category that is so represented in all rallies, whatever the level. Obviously, this success overshadows Rally1 because in the past you had the WRC and the Gr N. The gap between these two categories was significant, whereas today, they are closer. The challenge is that in terms of commercial activity, Rally2 works very well. The idiots
