The South Korean firm is having a strange year to say the least. As the head of the WRC program, Julien Moncet, points out, Hyundai has never won so many rallies in one season (5) since its return to the forefront in 2014. However, the Drivers' and Manufacturers' crowns went to Kalle Rovanperä and Toyota Gazoo Racing!

“We won in Rally1 and WRC2. We are a big family, because we spend more time together than with our respective families throughout the year! It’s nice to end the season on such a good note. Preparing for the future based on this double is very important for Hyundai.

“We won five rounds, which is unheard of for Hyundai. There was also a nice hat-trick signed at the Acropolis. Unfortunately, we missed the titles. We will do everything in place to ensure that this is not the case in 2023.”
