Prodrive has just announced that Pierre Campana will replace Kris Meeke in Monte-Carlo. The Briton demotes to the position of test pilot!

Campana replaces Meeke at Monte-Carlo

Mini, struggling to complete its 2012 program following sponsor problems which are damaging relations between Prodrive and BMW, will be well Rally Monte Carlo. Dani Sordo announced that he was entered in ten events next season (over 13 rounds) and confirmed his presence at the first rally of the Championship. However, Kris Meeke is only expected to compete in a few events in 2012 and will be limited to a test driver role to develop the Mini JCW. WRC.

After having achieved surprising performances in 2011, Pierre Campana was rewarded for his efforts by being officially entered into the Monte-Carlo Rally in place of Kris Meeke, after notably distinguishing himself by winning the Mont-Blanc Rally and at the Rallye des Cévennes with the Mini JCW prepared by Drive-Pro. As AUTOhebdo announced to you, the Bastiais is looking to complete its program for next season where it is aiming for four WRC entries (in Germany, France and perhaps Sicily) and four participations in the French Rally Championship.
