Campana feels ready for Monte-Carlo

The year 2011 of Pierre Campana finally allowed the young Corsican to get a seat to compete in the Rally Monte-Carlo in place of Kris Meeke with the Mini JCW WRC. The Bastiais having already highlighted itself in this event (victory in the 2-wheel drive category last year with a Renault Clio R3), he does not fear changing conditions. The first tests with the Prodrive car seem to have reinforced his confidence.

“The Monte-Carlo is a bit of a lottery because you need a certain type of tire at the right time, especially if there is snow”, explains Pierre Campana. “I did several test sessions with Mini last week in France, including tests on snow. I really loved these conditions and I feel ready to face any weather. The car is fantastic to drive and I can't wait to get started. It's a real pleasure to race against the greatest drivers in the world, but I will keep the same habits by taking each stage as it comes and giving the best of myself. »
