The French team CHL Sport Auto is moving up a gear in 2024. The team led by Christophe Lecureux will compete in WRC2 with the Finns Emil Lindholm and Teemu Suninen, in addition to the French Rally Championship with Hugo Margaillan.

In 2024, Teemu Suninen remains in the family Hyundai Motorsport, but therefore goes down one floor. The Finnish pilot, freelance in WRC in 2023, will compete in WRC2 this season with the South Korean manufacturer. As for Emil Lindholm, the WRC2 champion in 2022 will want to take back his property.
The two compatriots will contest five rounds in WRC2 this season, but their programs will not be identical. For example, Emil Lindholm will take part in the Rally from Sweden (February 15-18), unlike Teemu Suninen.
“The seriousness, professionalism and motivation shown by my teams since 2011 continues to bear fruit even if, as at each stage the company goes through, the main thing is in front of us, explains Christophe Lecureux, the boss of the Ardèche team.
With Emil and Teemu, it is obvious that playing the leading roles will clearly be the objective set for each round where they will be present in WRC2. For Hugo, in the French Championship, I am convinced that he will have the weapons to get his first victory and compete for the title in the two seasons granted to him (2024 and 2025). We can't wait to start this new chapter with the whole team! »
