Il a également occupé la fonction de responsable de l’ingéniere rally, working closely with his predecessor for twenty years. “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to lead the entire technical team, particularly at a time of such significant change to the sport we love, rejoiced Chris Williams. We have a small team of innovative, committed and determined engineers and designers and I am honored to help, guide and support them to produce cars that evolve and perform at the highest level. »
“With his proven racing background, it makes sense to appoint Chris as Technical Director to oversee all technical aspects of our company, added M-Sport managing director Malcolm Wilson. Not only am I looking forward to seeing the Puma Rally1 hybrid make its debut at Monte-Carlo, where I am confident it will meet our expectations, but also the other projects that Chris and his team will develop to advance M-Sport in the future. » Chris Williams will make his first official appearance in his new role at the opening round of the FIA World Rally Championship, where Sébastien Loeb, Craig Breen, Adrien fourmaux and Gus Greensmith will be at the wheel of the four models lined up for the Monte-Carlo Rally (January 20-23).
