Citroën remains satisfied with the developments of the C3 WRC

Le Rally from Argentina did not smile on Citroën Racing.

Nevertheless, Citroën is satisfied with the changes made to the C3 WRC whose behavior on earth seems to have progressed.

“The new rear axle approved since this round has had the expected effects, particularly on the confidence of the drivers behind the wheel, and this reassures us in the options chosen to continue to develop and optimize our car”, declared Pierre Budar, director of Citroën Racing.

“We also took advantage of the Sunday stage to explore, in real racing conditions, slightly different adjustment routes, which will certainly benefit us for the next events. It is in the light of these lessons, as well as those learned from our six days of testing carried out on site, that we are already focused on defining the Portugal set-up, to find higher rankings. consistent with our level of play”, specified the replacement for Yves Matton.

“These results do not reflect the performances achieved, in particular by Kris, and the C3 WRC once again demonstrated its high level of competitiveness, on terrain where we had particularly difficulties last year. Likewise, we can also note its exemplary reliability, as it has since the start of the season, even though this weekend we were dealing with one of the most brittle, if not the most brittle, rallies in the championship., underlined the director of Citroën Racing.
