Citroën: A fratricidal struggle on the Acropolis

After covering around thirty kilometers through the first two special stages of the last stage, Sébastien Loeb has a small tenth lead over his teammate. Sébastien Ogier had nevertheless taken the advantage in SS14 by regaining the lead of the Rally of the Acropolis also a tenth ahead.

While the Citroën drivers compete in a fierce battle for victory, Mikko Hirvonen regains ground on the leaders. The Ford driver regained 4??1 during this mid-stage and is 14??7 from the lead of the event. Petter Solberg (Citroën) seems to no longer be able to keep up with the pace. The 2003 World Champion, first leader of the rally, is now 14??4 behind the Fiesta RS WRC.

Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) once again saw his race destroyed by bad luck (differential failure on his Fiesta RS WRC) in the first stage. But the Flying Finn proves that he deserves much better than his eighth place in the general classification by signing the two scratches of the morning (three best times in total).

The crews will leave service for the last three stages of the Acropolis Rally. Sébastien Loeb will open the road at 11:05 a.m.
