Coronavirus: the WRC prepares to adjust its calendar

Le WRC did not make any changes to its schedule with the exception of the postponement of Rally of Argentina scheduled for April 23 to 26. However, organizers have indicated that they will have to comply with the measures applied by governments and expect to make significant changes.

According to the official WRC website, the Rally Argentina cannot be contested before October due to restrictions imposed by the state. The Rally of Portugal scheduled for the weekend of May 24 and the Rally of Sardinia scheduled for the weekend of June 7 are likely to be postponed due to the closure of borders at a time when Europe appears to be the home of the epidemic. However, preparations continue until governments make an announcement. Portugal is expected to make a decision between April 3 and 8 while Italy is expected to give more information on March 25.

The Safari Rally scheduled for the weekend of July 19 in Kenya continues its preparations while the country has closed its borders for a month.
