Guillaume de Mevius and his co-driver Louis Louka were victims of an impressive off-road incident this Sunday during a test session ahead of the Tour de Corse next week. France Info reports that the crew escaped unhurt and were able to notify emergency services.
The accident took place near the town of Canavaggia while the crew was carrying out reconnaissance of the first stage. There Peugeot 208 T16 R5, on the other hand, was destroyed after having failed several tens of meters below.

This is the second accident to occur during preparations for the Tour de Corse, Thierry Neuville having also been the victim of a road accident last Wednesday.
