Spanish Dani sordo will not be taking part in the second round of the World Rally Championship next week in Sweden (February 12-15). The former Citroën driver was the victim of a fall while cycling in training, and broke two ribs. He will therefore give way to New Zealander Hayden Paddon, promoted to the Hyundai i20 WRC No. 8 of the Korean manufacturer's first team.
Sordo's misfortunes will allow the Dutchman Kevin Abring to start earlier than planned at the wheel of the No. 20 Hyundai i20 of the Mobis WRT, he who was only supposed to start its program of four races minimum until later in the season.
