Pour la deuxième fois de sa carrière depuis qu’il a rejoint Hyundai, Dani sordo had been forced to withdraw from the Rally Finland last July. The Spanish driver of the Korean brand had injured a vertebra during preparatory tests for the Nordic event, following a suspension problem on his i20 and leaving the road.
Replaced by Kevin Abbring, the former Citroën Racing driver must return to the wheel of his WRC, as he indicated on social networks. Sordo is expected to carry out testing for the next round of the World Championship, the Rally of Germany (August 18-21), an event he won in 2013 with the Citroën DS3.
