French people ready to shine in all categories in Croatia

Au sommet de la hiérarchie, le nombre de Rally1 varie peu. Elles seront 9 avec une répartition très classique : 3 Hyundai dont une pour Craig Breen, seulement 2 Ford et 4 Yaris. Le Toyota Gazoo Racing ayant demandé à Sébastien Ogier to be part of the battle, he will be present with Vincent Landais at his side. The two men have already run the event before, but not in the same cockpit. Leaders of the championship, they will look to take advantage of their first position on the road to achieve a 3e success this year. Holder of the last trophy in Zagreb, Kalle Rovanperä probably doesn't see it that way at all, just like Thierry Neuville ou Ott Tänak. If the weather conditions are as complicated as last year, this should lead to a very lively round. This will also be the case in WRC2.

the 4e championship meeting reserved for Rally2 should once again offer a spectacle. There are in fact around ten of them who can claim victory. In the Skoda camp, the Toksport team will be present in force with 5 cars including that of Oliver Solberg who will not score any points. Fergus Greensmith, Nikolay Gryazin, Emil Lindholm and Sami Pajari will, on the contrary, chase the best places. Erik Cais will also play on another team's new Fabia and the Czech could create a surprise. Absent since Monte-Carlo, Yohan Rossel will have a lot to do. Winner in Zagreb in 2022, the PH-Sport driver will however be able to rely on his good knowledge of the terrain and the C3 Rally2 to remain in the leading pack of the category. Interesting in Monte-Carlo, the Spaniard Alejandro Cachon will try to confirm with his C3. Attacking his 3e rally from Croatia with a 3e different car, Adrien fourmaux will have to give everything to get the most out of his Fiesta Rally2. The last Frenchman lined up in WRC2 is Nicolas Ciamin. The winner of Le Touquet will aim for a good place among the title contenders with his Polo prepared by Stéphane Sarrazin.

In title, it will also be a question in JWRC. The 2e This round of the season, the only one on tarmac, will see 8 crews compete on identical Fiesta Rally3s. Having come very close to victory in Sweden, Laurent Pellier will not want to experience the same misadventure to put himself in a position of strength before the last 3 races on gravel (Sardinia, Estonia, Acropolis).

After the shakedown on Thursday (April 20) morning and the always well-attended starting ceremony in the evening, the rally will offer 301,26 km timed divided into 20 stages.
