Adrien fourmaux will have a lot to prove on this Rally Monte-Carlo.

When arriving on the roads alpines of the “Monte-Carl’”, Adrien Fourmaux admits to having a certain pressure on his shoulders but remains determined to prove his worth in the face of tough competitors. “We have to respect Monte Carlo, it’s the most difficult rally of the season, I realized that last year and it can happen for just one corner, recognizes the Habs.It is certain that the championship will be of a very high level and that we can expect big fights, that is why we are here. I want to enjoy my time in WRC2. We have a beautiful and very difficult rally with the Monte-Carlo. »

« The others won’t wait for us…” warns Fourmaux

The M-Sport driver will start with a slight advantage compared to the rest of the field: the Frenchman has already been able to participate in a rally in 2023, with victory on the Jänner Rally earlier in January. A full-scale training session to help him rediscover the Fiesta Rally2, very different from the Puma Rally1 that he was able to drive in 2022. “My car has made some progress and it is much smaller now… I drove [on the Jänner Rallye] last week and we won the rally. It's difficult to go from WRC2 to Rally 1, so I hope to get back into rhythm quickly. The others won't wait for us... The Fiesta is a fun car to drive and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. »

Third in the WRC2 championship in 2020, Adrien Fourmaux will be one of the favorites for Monte-Carlo but also for the title. M-Sport will expect no less if the Northerner wants to hope to find a chance in the premier category…
