EKS will launch into rallying in 2020

After rallycross, EKS, Mattias Ekström's structure, will enter the rally scene in 2020. The Skoda Fabia R5 should be favored.

Le rallycross will still be part of the sectors of activity in 2020 for Mattias Ekström's EKS team, via support for the Audi S1s entered this year by the RX Cartel and JC Raceteknik structures, but the rally will be a new direction for the double champion's team DTM.

Although the final plans will be revealed in December 2019, this season is already serving as a test run for EKS with several test sessions and tests on the program.

Enough to come full circle, as it were, since at the end of the 90s and in the 2000s, Mattias Ekström had competed in several events with a Mitsubishi Group N, notably on the Swedish rally.

If no confirmation has been made on the full driver program, the car used should be a Skoda Fabia R5.
