Elfyn Evans remains hopeful for 2017

Pilote titulaire du Team M-Sport en 2015 au côté de l’Estonien Ott Tänak, Elfyn Evans was unable to keep his seat in Malcolm Wilson's team, helmed by Mads Ostberg and Eric Camilli.

The boss of the English team had, however, organized a program in WRC-2 of a few races for the young Welshman of 27 years old, at the wheel of the Ford Fiesta R5, with the mission of coming to battle with the formidable Skoda Fabia R5.

As 2017 approaches, Evans' medium-term future raises questions, with uncertainty over a return to the premier category of the World Rally Championship. “It’s not about ‘renting’ a car. I've never been able to do it in my career, I don't have the funds to do it. I'll have to find what I can. I'm going to work hard for this and hopefully something will come. » Evans said on the WRC website.
