Elfyn Evans in Dmack colors in 2017

Dmack confirmed this Tuesday the presence by Welshman Elfyn Evans on the Ford Fiesta WRC 2017 in the manufacturer's colors for the 2017 WRC season. The presence of the reigning British rally champion had already been hinted at by the revelation of the entry list at the Rally Monte Carlo (January 19-22).

“I'm really excited to be back in a WRC as we begin an exciting period for the sport with the next generation cars, specifies Evans. I'm grateful to Dmack for the opportunity as well. I have really enjoyed working with them over the last twelve months and being part of the 2017 new product development.

Being away from the premier class for a season was really difficult, but it made me more motivated and determined to make the most of this opportunity. » Elfyn Evans will carry out a test session this Friday in France to perfect her preparation for Monte-Carlo.

Dmack will remain present in WRC-2 with the Ford Fiesta R5 counting on the presence of Max Vatanen, Jon Armstrong and Osian Pryce.
